After a couple of difficult years, this 2023 will be filled with a series of events, in which artists, designers and architects will have the opportunity to present ambitious and very creative ideas. Where? San Francisco, United States.
When? 7-10 June
It is the largest annual architecture conference in the United States. Last year, the organization explored "the ability of architecture to drive new thinking in one of the most sustainable and advanced cities". With an architecture exhibition to be held from June 8 to 9, where you’ll be able to meet architectural decision makers looking for technical expertise, new products and project solutions.
2) Copenhagen Architecture Festival
Where? Copenhagen
When? June 1-11
Did you know that UNESCO has named Copenhagen as the World Capital of Architecture for 2023? This festival will be called Life Form and will include three physical exhibitions at Copenhagen's Art Hub and a series of digital initiatives. The main concepts to be discussed this year will be: regenerative design, bioinclusive biomimicry, symbiotic co-creation, architectural asceticism and do-ocracy.
3) International Architecture Biennial (BIALIMA 2023)
Where? Peru
When? August 2023
It is a space that recognizes good practices in architecture, construction, regulation and action on the territory of Lima and rewards them to serve as examples to follow. With the participation of 30 emerging offices in Latin America. The curators of BIALIMA 2023 will be the co-founders of 51-1 Architects: Fernando Puente Arnao, Manuel de Rivero and Cesar Becerra.
4) Concentric
Where? Logroño, Spain
When? April 27 to May 2
"Concéntrico is the International Festival of Architecture and Design of Logroño that annually proposes to reflect on the urban environment and the city. The Festival invites visitors to tour the city through installations, exhibitions, meetings, activities and performances that create a connection between places, squares, streets, courtyards and hidden spaces that often go unnoticed in their daily lives. "
This year, the festival opened competitions for three interventions and a call for participatory internships with the new Cities Ahead program, an initiative of the program led by the Goethe-Institut that promotes creativity in the cities of Europe.
5) NeoCon 2023
Where? The Mart, Chicago, United States.
When? 12-14 June

6) Home&Object
Where? Paris, French.
When? 19 January to 23 February and from 7 to 11 September
Maison&Objet is the largest trade fair held at Paris Design Week, with more than 2000 exhibitors.
It features summer and winter editions with a program of exhibitions, installations and awards to celebrate current and future designers. The fair also hosts 38 conferences addressing topics such as hospitality, innovation and the latest trends in design.
The innovations and themes that will be touched on in these events will have a strong impact on the trends we will see in the future and new ways of carrying out architecture and interior design projects.
